A stroller is a lightweight folding chair with wheels. These wheeled baby carriers are generally a more affordable option in comparison to pushchairs which tend to have more comprehensive features. Strollers are great for shorter, everyday journeys, such as walks in the park or around the supermarket, thanks to their transportable, compact size.

Strollers are ideal for babies who are able to support themselves while sitting up for sustained periods of time. This typically is around 6 months of age, but every baby’s development is different. Some can be used from birth with a lie-flat seat or , we’d recommend investing in a lie-flat pram system to get from A-B!

Baby strollers are a safe option for getting out and about with your little one as long as they’re able to comfortably sit up on their own. When choosing a safe stroller, check for easy-to-operate brakes, a wide wheel base for stability and a five-point harness. If necessary, place rolled up blankets either side of your toddler to prevent slouching and make sure you can see your child at all times.
